Welcome to the online Unemployment Insurance Tax Reporting System

You must use Internet Explorer to access the full version of the Unemployment Insurance Tax Reporting System.

If you do not have access to Internet Explorer or use a different browser, you can use the Alternative Filing Method.


You will need a User ID and Password to access the system. If you have registered for a UserID and Password to use other Department of Labor and Regulation online applications (such as New Hire Reporting or SDWORKS), you do not need to register again.

"First Time Users" - If this is your first time using the site, you must register for a UserID and Password. Follow these steps

  1. Select "New Users Register Here" from the menu on the left side of this screen.

  2. On the left side, click the Register button and complete the six items on the Registration Form.

  3. Click on the Register button at the bottom of the Registration Form. You will be taken back to the Welcome Page if your UserID is accepted.

  4. Select "Account Login" from the menu on the left side of this screen.

  5. Enter your UserID and Password and click the Login button.

  6. From the popup window, enter your account number and PIN and click Add to associate with your UserID. You can associate multiple accounts to one UserID. Then click Submit.

Please Note:

Four (4) unsuccessful attempts to log in will lock your computer out of the system, so please use caution when entering your information. Keep track of your UserID and Password to use when returning to access this site.

If your business has more than 50 employees listed on your quarterly report, your information will be processed offline and an email will be sent to you when your report can be confirmed.
